Digital Ambassador Program
Funded in part by an initial gift from Google's Education Research Unit in the fall of 2012, the CSU Digital Ambassador program is coordinated by the Chancellor's office and has three goals:
1) University Leadership: CSU Digital Ambassadors will research the educational technology interests of faculty in their College and/or campus, and evaluate common obstacles, implement DA activities and events that address these obstacles, and document major/minor milestones.
2) Faculty Development: The CSU Digital Ambassador will work with campus faculty, teacher candidates, and K-12 educators to better equip and inform colleagues of ways to enhance traditional teaching methods.
3) Adoption of Digital Applications: As part of coursework or supplemental learning experiences (e.g., DA activities or events), the Ambassador will highlight artifacts from faculty, teacher candidates, and/or K-12 educators that demonstrate their adoption of digital applications.
